Kaitlin + Andrew | Fall Harper's Ferry Engagement Session : Harper's Ferry, West Virginia

In one of Kait’s initial emails, she said that a lot of their weekends are “dedicated to family, friends, and food…” and when I read that, I was like… yessss! MY PEOPLE!! :) I love that my couples cherish loved ones and good eats too, so we clicked instantly. She and I keep finding ways we are so similar and it’s super fun! Like how we can’t start work when we’re home until everything feels like it’s in it’s place… or we go crazy! Andrew’s awesome, super laid back and kind, and Kaitlin is fun, bubbly, and so incredibly sweet…

These two met through mutual friends, love Thai food, and spoiling their little lab mix, Maisie that they rescued a couple years ago. They love breweries, wineries, cooking together, and of course the good ol’ Netflix and chill!

We were initially supposed to shoot another day, but it rained and we decided to reschedule. I’m glad we did because we had such great lighting and even though it was a little chilly, it was comfortable to walk around the sweet little town of Harper’s Ferry.

Kaitlin is a history teacher so she gave a recap on what happened there back in 1859 in the John Brown raid. It was crazy to visualize what happened while being there.

We walked around, getting to know each other, chatting about the wedding plans, holiday recipes, and more… Kaitlin shared this one family recipe with me for spiked cranberry relish which I plan to add to my Thanksgiving table next year! I always love when we can all bond over good food and favorite flavors… :) And all while taking pictures and having fun…

They’re just so cute… Kaitlin looked beautiful and her makeup was absolutely perfect… she rocked that dark lip! It was sweet to see how much they compliment each other.

They’re getting married at Stone Manor Country Club this June and I can’t wait to see everything come together! It’s going to be so pretty with a mix of dusty and deep blues with summery accents.

Hope you enjoy some of my favorites from their shoot!
