The Misulia Family : "Married and a House" | Baltimore, Maryland Family Session

Allie and Mark began married life with a total home renovation and completely knocked it out of the park! My words won’t be able to do it justice, so it’s best if you check out their Instagram feed that tells the whole story. As I watched the transformation of their new home take place, I thought about how cool it was to see each room and space change from what it was to what it was meant to be, with their special touches and hard work along the way.

The theme throughout their beautiful home highlights what’s most important to them, faith and family, with an aesthetic that combines warm vintage pieces with chic modern accents. I’m absolutely in love with their colors too, and how quaint and cozy the feel of each room is. Seeing it in “real life” was just as I’d knew it would be, warm, inviting, and special.

I love the peach front door and the green post office box on the front! I just wanted to curl up on the living room sofa and read a good book… Their dining room has the sweetest corner cupboard, a reading nook, and round table, with a beautiful kitchen on the opposite side. A teal light hangs above the sink (which, if you follow along with their reno, you’ll discover the significance of the color teal…) and a fun black and white backsplash tile above the stove.

Their precious little girl’s room is soft and neutral with hints of rose and warm tones, and their bedroom has beautifully clean natural light. I loved the bathroom and the tub! And lastly, their prayer room, filled with books, the coolest DIY light Allie put together, and love seat for reading, was such a cool space with a sense of inspiration.

I hope you enjoy this little tour of their sweet home, in all it’s pretty detail, and give them a follow as they continue to share home projects, tips and tricks for design, and more! :)

(Thanks for having me, guys!) xo
