Jessica + Kevin | Mt. Washington Mill Dye House Wedding

From the first time we spoke on the phone, I’ve felt like Jessica was my long lost sister or cousin or something… I just love her heart and her energy. She loves big, is obsessed with her dog Cleo, and just couldn’t wait to marry Kevin. They had to change somethings around like the rest of our couples that year, but when the wedding date finally arrived that August day, everyone was READY and so excited for the day.

It was a HOT ONE. And when I say hot, I mean like 103° in the shade, but we all just went with it and luckily it didn’t rain!

Jess and Kevin each got ready at her childhood homes with their siblings, parents, and best friends, which started the day in such a sweet, personal way. I always love seeing details of my couples’ stories like this, especially when we start the day in the home where they grew up. It must be so special for their parents too.

Just before the ceremony, Jess’s grandmother placed the grown she herself made and wore on her own wedding day, on Jessica’s head just moments before the ceremony. It was such a sweet moment, I can only imaging how much her Mom-Mom’s heart was just beaming. Jess looked stunning!

After dinner, the night carried on with dancing, singing, and more dancing… Italian Cream Cake, cocktails, Classic Rock, and so much dancing and singing! It was definitely a night I did not want to end!
