+ $800 : Second Photographer
+ $1.50/mile : Transit Charge over 200 miles

Second Photographer Note: I don't judge the need for one based on the number of wedding guests or size of the bridal party, but rather on logistics of the wedding day including the timeline and/or getting ready location(s) of the Bride and Groom. For example, if I'm documenting the Bride and physically can't be in attendance to document the Groom at a separate location, or the reception setup needs to be photographed prior to cocktail hour when I'm documenting the ceremony, I will suggest that the couple invests in a second photographer. Sometimes we're able to work the timeline to accommodate so that I'm able to photograph everything myself, which is my preference, but other times we need to customize accordingly.

In wanting to refrain from altering the natural flow of the special moments on your wedding day, I like to hang back quietly and document unobtrusively. But I'll definitely give direction and affirmation from behind the camera during your portraits together (as well as family and bridal party shots) because let's be honest, even top models require direction when being photographed. So don't worry - it's my job to make you look good and feel comfortable, but remain as unseen and unheard as I possibly can.

I like to keep things simple and straightforward without a lot of fluff. Official booking requires a 50% non-refundable deposit in addition to a signed contract, both of which can be sent to you via email upon request to move forward. Your balance would be due in full within 30 days from the wedding date.

We would then get your Engagement Session on the books, which are typically scheduled on Thursday evening between 5:30 and 7:30 pm, depending on the time of year. I am of course somewhat flexible with this and want to work around whatever is best for the two of you, but like to stick to a weekday booking/workflow routine as optimally as possible. I want to photograph you guys in your most comfortable element - whatever that looks like for the two of you. It could be your favorite pub or coffee shop, or a sentimental location like your grandparent's farm or the place he proposed. You decide!

As the wedding day approaches, we'll solidify your timeline and make sure everything's planned out perfectly so you don't have to worry about any of that when the day arrives. You can just leave it up to us and your day-of coordinator or wedding planner. I'll send you a Questionnaire to complete that refers to your family and bridal party members, any specially-requested photos you'd like me to take, and the vendors you've chosen to bring of your day together. My assistant and I will have the master list on the day of, so you won't have to worry about leaving anyone out of a group shot or anything. We'll go over the details together and make sure everything's all set.

After you've received your images, you can think about designing an album for yourselves. Your parents might be interested too. Pricing and details regarding Heirloom Albums, Coffee Table Books, Prints, Frames, Canvases, and more are available upon request.
