Cait + Zach : Chestnut Hill College Wedding | Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Caitlin and Zach’s wedding day was extra special to me, because Zach’s mom is someone very special to me! She is my Father-in-law’s girlfriend of almost a decade, and she has come to be family to us so we felt so special being part of this day… When Cait reached out to me about coming up to Philly to photograph their wedding, I was overjoyed and so excited!

She was such an organized bride and had everything planned out so perfectly. The day’s weather was beautiful, and the sun was shining… We started out at The Logan Hotel downtown, where Cait and the girls were getting ready, before heading over to Chestnut Hill College where the rest of the day’s events would take place.

Cait was just stunning, with such effortless beauty… It was a fun morning with her and her girls!

Both Cait and Zach’s grandmothers attended college there, graduating in the same class, so they felt like it would be such a special place for their wedding, and it was.. it was absolutely perfect!

Don’t Pops and Carla look ravishing??? :) They’re so cute. I loved being able to capture these sweet moments for them…

Zach hung around outside before the ceremony began, greeting guests and hugging family and friends before it was time for everyone to head inside. And after the ceremony, we took a few pictures as the sun started to set before it was time for their first dance and dinner.

These people loved to dance! It was awesome having the ballroom area separate from the dinner tables, so guests could freely dance and those who wanted to talk, could move to the dining room to sit and enjoy themselves. After their first dance, their siblings and Cait’s father gave speeches and it was time for dinner… followed by more dancing of course!

At one point I looked at Carla before the ceremony started, as everyone was happily pouring into the room to sit down for the wedding, and my eyes welled up a bit and I simply said, “I just love this…” It really is fun and special to be part of such an important day and experience so much joy, unity, and FUN!

Wishing these two the BEST! :) Thanks for including us into your family so warmly!
