Sara & Tyler : Dancing in the Rain - A Summer Backyard Wedding - Spring Grove, Pennsylvania

Sara and Tyler are both music teachers so naturally they wanted their wedding to revolve around music! Sara's aunt and uncle have a gorgeous country property just outside of Hanover, Pennsylvania in Spring Grove with a gorgeous a-frame house and lots of land - the perfect place for a summer wedding!

The morning of the wedding, it began to rain... a lot. Like, absolutely downpour. The weather was exactly the same on my wedding day so I totally understood the emotions they were feeling, trying to execute for plan B the morning of the wedding, but everything worked out so perfectly and beautifully!

As I wanted for Sara and her bridesmaids to arrive, I explored the house and property. I love it's unique style!

Sara and the girls arrived to get ready while a few friends came together to rearrange the tent setup so that the ceremony could be underneath. I loved their Save the Date and Invitation! After a couple of logistical calls, the girls popped some champagne and got into their dresses! Sara's mom, Bobbie, and her aunt Tracey surprised her with a trip to Tiffany's to pick out earrings for her wedding day... That was definitely a special moment to watch as they helped Sara step into her beautiful ethereal wedding gown and put on her new earrings. Sara read a letter from Tyler just before it was time to walk down the aisle..

After such a sweet ceremony filled with so much love (and a song from Sara's brother Jeremy!) we snapped a few portraits! Everyone was such good sports in the rain!

The rain kept coming but it didn't slow anyone down from partying and celebrating with these two! We danced, ate, drank, and danced some more!!

(Don't you love Mr. Ken sampling the rain water in his beer bottle?? One of my favorites from the night!)

And just before the night was over, we popped outside into the rain one last time to capture this beauty!

Congratulations again to Sara & Tyler! So much love for these two - what an amazing day!
