Rachel & Justin : Classic Church Wedding - Loyola Chapel in Baltimore, Maryland

It rained on the morning of Rachel and Justin's day and drizzled lightly throughout. I loved the cozy feeling the weather added to the day. Luckily the day's events were all to take place indoors so it didn't slow anything down from moving forward perfectly and smoothly.

I love when my couples incorporate family heirlooms into the details of their wedding day. Rachel wore her grandmother's opal cross necklace and carried her grandfather's handkerchief around her bouquet.

We loved her invitation too by Michael from East Coast Advertising. It was all once long invitation where the guests just ripped off the bottom to mail back as their RSVP! It was such a clever and smart design!

One trend I absolutely fell in love with this year was wedding dresses with pink hues! Several of my brides chose gowns with touches of blush this year and each one made me melt. Rachel's gown was straight from a fairy tale...

While Justin and the guys got ready, Rachel's sister Caitlin touched them up with a little makeup. This was the first time I'd seen makeup applied on groomsmen! It was just enough! Justin opened his card and gift from Rachel before he finished getting ready.

Rachel is one of the calmest brides I've ever photographed, and has the most beautiful skin! She looked like an angel! After Caitlin finished up her makeup, she opened a gift from Justin before stepping into her beautiful gown...

Luckily the rain cleared up just before the ceremony, and afterwards, we were able to pop outside for a few portraits! The Chapel at Loyola University is so beautiful.

We headed back for their reception to an evening of tender-hearted speeches, lots of dancing, and of course - cake!

Congratulations once again to Rachel and Justin! I just love these two - they're so sweet and genuine, and I just love a timeless classic wedding!
