FAQ

How many weddings have you photographed?

300+

How many weddings do you typically photograph each year?

Around 10. This allows me to give each couple the time, attention, and creative energy they deserve.

What’s the booking process like?

After your initial inquiry, we’ll schedule a call to connect, answer your questions, and walk through how I approach documenting a wedding day. I value open conversation and getting to know each couple well.

Once you’re ready to move forward, I’ll send over a contract and retainer invoice to officially reserve your date. From there, I’ll create a preliminary photography timeline to help guide your planning alongside your other vendors.

We’ll also collaborate on your engagement session—shaping a vision that reflects your style and story. Then, about six weeks before the wedding, we’ll connect again to finalize details, priorities, and any meaningful moments you’d like thoughtfully captured.

Do you work with a second photographer?

Yes—each wedding collection includes two photographers.

What is your turnaround time?

Wedding galleries are delivered within 4–6 weeks. Other sessions are delivered within 2–3 weeks.

How many images will be in color vs. black and white?

I deliver a balanced mix of both. Most black and white images are also provided in color.

Do you edit each photo yourself?

Yes—every image is personally edited by me.

What’s the difference between editing and retouching?

Editing includes overall adjustments such as color, exposure, contrast, and light refinement.

Retouching involves more detailed alterations, such as skin softening or removing background elements.

Do you offer retouching?

Yes—retouching services are available for purchase through your online gallery.

What can I do with my images?

While I retain copyright, you are welcome to print and share your images for personal use. Images may not be altered, edited, or sold.

Do you offer albums and prints?

Yes—albums, prints, and additional products are available through your online gallery. All offerings are timeless in design and carefully crafted by artisans in the United States.

What gear do you use?

I work with professional camera bodies, a small selection of lenses, and on-camera flash when needed—keeping things simple and intentional.

Do you have liability insurance?

Yes—proof can be provided to venues upon request.

What if it rains on our wedding day?

We embrace it. Your wedding day is your story, and that includes whatever the weather brings. Some of the most meaningful and creative images come from those unexpected moments—we’ll work together to create something beautiful regardless of the conditions.
