Letter Reading/Gift Opening

Some couples write letters to each other to be read the morning of the wedding day. This makes such beautiful memories, especially when each of you are able to sneak away to a quiet space to take your own little moment to read. Either give each other the letters to hold onto until the wedding day, or have your Maid of Honor and Best Man or a family member deliver the letters to on the morning of the wedding. Just make sure to wait to read them until we’re there to document it. ;)

Solo Letter Reading Time Allotment: 10 minutes

First Touch

It’s also sweet to have a First Touch rather than a First Look, where the Bride and Groom hold hands, say hi and “I love you… ”, and even exchange letters but without seeing each other. It’s a tender moment of emotion and anticipation.

We will typically bring the Groom to the location, and have the Maid of Honor, wedding planner, or my assistant (if present) bring the Bride to the location, with details about what to expect prior to the “touch”. We’ll do our absolute best to make sure you won’t see each other!

Time Allotment: 15 minutes
