Hi, I’m Kirsten —

pronounced Keer-stin :)

I’m an introvert by nature with a big heart for meaningful connection—always choosing deep conversation over small talk. I’m drawn to a life that feels simple, easygoing, and uncluttered, staying grounded in the rhythms of the seasons and the practice of slow, intentional living.

My husband Tyler and I live in a little pink house with our canine bestie, Baxter. We share a love for sensory experiences—thoughtful food, live music, travel, and creative expression. Weekends are often spent at the farmer’s market, searching for vintage treasures, or simply resting and enjoying the quiet comfort of home. In the off-season, we’re usually somewhere along the coast, soaking in the calm of the sea.

I value presence, gratitude, and living with awareness—loving deeply, thinking freely, and holding close to a sense of faith and purpose in the everyday. I’m endlessly inspired by travel and the quiet charm of small towns—places where history lingers and stories feel close to the surface. At home, I find joy in simple, creative rhythms: quilting and crochet, tending to our plants, and creating in the kitchen. I’m often reading or learning about relationships, natural wellness, faith, or personal growth—and when I unwind, you’ll usually find me watching something light and beautiful or culinary-oriented like The Lost Kitchen or Beat Bobby Flay.

Photography has been part of me for as long as I can remember. As a child, I would carry around my parents’ old Pentax, pretending to take photos—completely captivated by the click of the shutter and the magic of focus. The days our film came back in the mail felt like Christmas morning, seeing our memories come to life in print.

I was gifted my first camera at eight years old, and I’ve never stopped. It’s simply part of who I am. I’m drawn to the way light, time, and perspective come together to preserve beauty in a tangible way. There’s something deeply romantic and life-giving about photography—something I know I’ll always be connected to.

After more than 15 years in this work, I still find myself deeply moved by the people I meet and the stories I’m invited into. The trust, openness, and connection I experience through this work is something I will never take for granted. It’s truly an honor to do what I do.
