Right when I pulled up to the Tidd family’s beautiful home, sweet little Nora’s face was popping through the window next to the front door… As I walked up the steps, the front door opened for me and her cute little face peeked out from behind the door with her hand up against her chin, red painted finger nails and an adorable little braid and clip in her hair…
Right away, she began to tell me all about her brand new baby brother Trevor and how she was so excited and ready for her pictures… She wore a “Big Sister” t-shirt to match Trevor’s “Little Brother” onesie… She was so proud and such a helpful sister, tucking him in with his warm blanket and “shhh”-ing him as he cooed.
After a few photos all together, it was time for Trevor to have a bottle, so right way Nora got situated on the sofa to hold and feed him. It was so precious to watch her interact with him… She kissed his head and squeezed his little hands, and made sure the bottle was situated properly for him.
Then once he was ready for his mommy to burp him, Nora picked out her favorite books to read to her family! She was so animated and excited and it was so fun to watch… :)
We took a small break to play and do a few puzzles in Nora’s room while baby Trevor got changed. I loved just watching her do her thing, play, read the letters and numbers, and enjoy being in her space with her toys and all of her favorite things…
Trevor took a little nap in his crib and was snuggled even more by his loving family before having a few special photos taken with just his sweet mama.
One of the most special parts of my job is being invited back into the lives of my clients and friends during the most impacting and special times in their lives… It was so cool to see Nora grown up so much after photographing her in her mommy’s belly, and now she’s a big sister! I love this sweet family so much and was so grateful to capture this precious morning together, and can’t wait to watch as Trevor grows! :)
