Bridal Party Portraits

These are typically photographed directly after the First Look and Bride and Groom’s portraits are finished, or just after the Bride and Groom have finished getting ready if there’s no First Look, just prior to the ceremony.

No First Look

Once the Bride is dressed, the girls will all grab their bouquets and we’ll move to a previously determined location for photos taken together as a group, and separately with the Bride. Unless a Second Photographer is with the Groom and Groomsmen, I’ll then send the girls inside to wait out of sight and head to where the guys are getting ready. Once they’re all dressed and their boutonnieres are on (which we’ll take care of pinning on for you - don’t worry) we’ll photograph their portraits together and individually with the Groom also. Then everyone will head to the ceremony, and we’ll capture a few Bridal Party group photos after the ceremony.

First Look

After the Bride and Groom’s First Look and portraits together, the Bridal Party will join them for photos. We’ll start with the girls (or all the guys) and then take a few group shots of the whole Bridal Party together before moving along to family photos.

Tips

  • Leave all keys cell phones, and wallets in a safe secure place and not in pants pockets or tucked into dresses.

  • The better everyone listens to me, the faster this portion of the day will go. ;)
