Ashley and Eddie are two rays of California sunshine, who decided to get married in Baltimore at Cosima with their closest friends and family. I love photographing weddings at this venue because the vibe is always so go-with-the-flow and laid back with an elegant and sophisticated feel. Guests always appreciate being able to mingle and hang out as if they were out at a bar or restaurant, because they want to experience all of the love and sense of togetherness throughout the evening. This space provides those feels to the fullest capacity!
I love the red brick of the buildings with the white window trim, the sound of the river flowing in the background… It’s got such a cool look and it’s super fun to photograph all of the angles and areas on the property!
Ashley wore two dresses throughout the day… Her wedding dress, and then another gorgeous timeless gown, both of which looked amazing on her… I loved finding different locations in the courtyard to photograph them before she got ready.
Just before their First Look at Cosima, Eddit hung out with his brother, dad, and friends at a hotel close by in Baltimore… Love his casual yet classy look, so handsome! He’s got awesome hair too and such a great smile.
Ashley got ready with her sister and friends… I loved the moment her mama first saw her. Her daughter literally took her breath away… Ashley’s gorgeous smile was just so radiant, she looked absolutely beautiful!
Photographing their First Look and portraits was so fun… They’re so great to photograph because they just let loose and allow themselves to be totally in their own moment together.
I’m totally obsessed with Eddie’s pocket-square of flowers…
And Ash’s sister’s super fun dress from Anthropologie was so eye-catching and cute, she looked so pretty in it! She was so happy for her sister and attentive to whatever she needed throughout the day…
Ash and Eddie chose not to have a bridal party, but her girlfriends arrived and all lined up to see her for the first time at once, and it was such a cute moment!
They each took turns saying a little something about her, how beautiful she looked, how happy they were for her, and how much they cherished her and their friendship… it was so sweet.
I loved their ceremony space setup, and those lanterns were stunning! Ash wanted to incorporate a little “California” into their decor, hence the palms… the perfect touch!
Their ceremony was beautiful with hand-written vows and of course, laughs… I love how their guests gathered around with their cocktails and watched as the ceremony took place.
The new Mr. and Mrs. shared a sweet little moment together as Cocktail Hour was beginning… Passed dishes and stations were enjoyed at Cosima before the remainder of the reception was held in the Heron Room just across the courtyard. Cosima’s food is amazing!
After speeches from their siblings and everyone had eaten, it was time to head to the Heron Room for dancing, dessert, and more drinks! Eddie’s mom put together a Pittsburgh tradition - a Cookie Table! She made most of the cookies and everyone was able to take some home… They were so delicious, it was hard not to grab one whenever I’d walk by…
It was such an absolute joy to be part of their wedding day and I am so grateful to know these two! Wishing them nothing but the absolute best!!!
