Kristen and Jonathan met through church and have been together for about 8 years… They were so excited to get married, move into their brand new house together, and begin their future as Mr. and Mrs!
It was a beautiful, slightly warm, sunny day at Antrim on the early afternoon of the wedding. Kristen, her sweet mom and sisters, friends, niece, and mother-in-law were getting ready together just inside the mansion. Before I popped in to see them, I spent some time capturing the beautiful gardens, fountains, and landscape outside. It’s always so beautiful!
I always love this portion of the day with so much anticipation in the air…
Jon and Kristen wrote letters to each other and gave gifts… Jon received new cuff links and Kristen was gifted a brand new pink Bible with her new name engraved on the front. It was so sweet!
Moments later, her daddy came in to see her for the very first time… It was such a sweet moment between the two of them. Kristen looked so absolutely beautiful!
After a few portraits outside before guests began to arrive, Kristen and Jon wanted to have a private moment to pray together without seeing each other. We tucked them into one of the rooms in the mansion downstairs so they could enjoy this tender sweet moment, just the two of them…
Their ceremony was so special. They shared in communion together, just after their youth pastor told their story, exchanged rings, kissed, and became officially Mr. and Mrs!
I loved taking their portraits around the grounds… The sky was starting to get a little moody and overcast, and it was about to rain, so we had soft diffused light and it was so beautiful!
Just as their reception began, it started to pour! The timing was perfect… Once it cleared up, we popped back outside for a few more portraits and continued to dance the night away!
Congratulations, Kristen and Jonathan! I know that God will bless you immensely! Thank you for including me in your special day!
